Smitty Posted May 2, 2009 Share Posted May 2, 2009 Went after a few blackies this morning on the banks of the Georges and managed 4 nice keeps, they've been filleted and skinned and will be happily sizzling away in the pan in about an hour - yuuuummm. The best fish of the morning (and what a beautiful morning it was!) measured a bit over 37cm and was real thick through the shoulders. Another bloke I was fishing with took home five nice fish. We got heaps of downs and released up to a dozen undersized fish.....there are a few good ones around but not in good numbers just yet. No pics sorry (camera was at home flat).
