Outnumbered
on weekends i usually have the wife, kids and about a ton of picnic gear onboard and they don't like the bay when it's sloppy. so what spots can you recomend i take them to that is reasonably calm and i can still have a shot at catching something with a ramp that is solo launch/retrieve friendly? (the is no help )

Captain Pugwash
In Sydeny harbour there is a good spot called reef beach inside north harbour and a jetty at what is called little Manly. Never used the wharf but it looks OK. Have caught Kings, John Dory, Leatherjacket, Bream, Squire at Reef Beach. It offers excellent protection from Southerlies. mystic shad
I find there are sheltered spots here and there around roseville bridge, the ramp is close by and eliminates the need to brave exposed waters. Its a fair drive from your district though
