G'day Raiders,

Well today was'nt much of a day to go fishing,so i thought i would clean out my bait freezer.

There i was merrily sorting the good stuff from the not so good,when what did i find hidden away behind

some bags of stuff ???.

BLOODY BANANAS :1yikes::ranting2:

No wonder i havn't been able to catch any fish lately,

It turns out that the wife wanted to save said items to make some muffins for the kids.

Its all good ,she said she was nt thinking, and was very sorry (as she is well aware of the dangers of bananas ).

Anyway, what do i do now?, is there anyway to remove the banana curse from the bait that was in the freezer.

Or should i just bin it and get another freezer.

Look forward to your solutions to my problem.

Cheers

:beersmile:

Bruce.

You first of all must remember its not a freezer problem so lets stick to the root cause.

Get a new Wife and all will be good :074::074::074:

An easy remedy:

Frozen Bait Fridge Banana Daiquiri

Ingredients

* 2 ounces light rum

* 1/2-ounce banana liqueur

* 2 tablespoons lime juice

* 6 frozen bananas from bait freezer, peeled and coarsely chopped

* 2 rank pillies stored for 6 months alongside bananas

* 1/2 cup crushed ice

Directions

Combine all ingredients in an electric blender and blend at high speed until smooth. Pour into a large saucer champagne or similar glass.

Store in wife's kitchen freezer until needed for next dinner party with Mother in Law.

Problem solved...she'll never put bananas in your fridge again! :tease:

Thanks for all the suggestions fellas,

I think i'll do all those things, except for the new missus bit (although it does sound very tempting Bob ),and i will also make an extra donation to Neptune next time i stick the boat in the water.

If that does'nt work, then maybe Big Bobs solution might be the go ?.

Cheers ,

Bruce :beersmile:
