Painting A Tinny

hey guys just wandering has any one ever used that rust kill epoxy enamel to paint there tinny or if any one knows if you can or not

i was reading a can today but it didnt say if it was copper based or not

or would by using a good quality etch primer make that void as the paint wouldnt be coming into contact with the aluminium

as that marine paint is real expensive any info would be much appreciated

even if someone knows where to get cheap marine paint?
