framedtrash Posted June 14, 2009 Share Posted June 14, 2009 went for a fish on saturday to our little secret pittwater spot within a couple of min i hooked onto some thing massive after a 10min fight the fish was lost was a late start for us so we didnt bother getting livies so we stuck to using fresh squid as bait one of my mates using my little 2kg setup gets hit by some thing after a light fight he pulls in his first jewie i forget what size it was but after a couple of snaps it went back into the water to fight another day we also managed to pull in a few massive leatherjackets around the 50cm mark another mate landed a little port jackson shark there where some guys in a boat close to us using live garfish as bait and manged to land 2 nice size kingys one was a solid keeper at 80cm the 2nd was a rat was a good afternoon out cant wait for the weekend to get out there again Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
