just got back from the shop

bought myself a shimano Symetre 1500 to replace my Okuma 2000

spooled with 3 pound fireline

can't wait to try it on Monday

Loaded up with 3lb, it will cast like a bullet. I have a 2500 and a 1000 I got off Slinky ... no regrets at all

Hi Robbie Good luck in the Georges tomorrow mate..... the upriver water didn't look too good when Shirley and I crossed over Milperra Bridge yesterday and there's a lot of bream and flathead around Brighton, sandringham rob....I'll sms some pics showing the restaurant in the background Rob, still it's up to you and your Dad and the same blokes did alright in the river earlier last week but didn't stay there too long on Friday before heading out into the bay......
