Hi all,

Went for a yak in the harbour on saturday morning with the company of fellow raider Yakfishing. We both fished with prawn imitation lures targeting bream and fishing around man-made structure. Interestingly, the water was surprisingly warm. There were not heaps of fish around, but the ones we did catch were quality. In fact I got my P.B bream on lure. It went 41cm. Took a couple of pics and then I released it. I've caught plenty around the 35-37cm before but this was my first bream above 40cm on a lure. I was absolutely stoked. I ended up with 3 bream and 1 flathead. I went out again this morning but only for a big doughnut.

Great fish mate, bet you were stoked, the water you were in looks sensational, smooth as silk.

Thanks Ray. The water was awesome between 6am and 8am but after that the wind kicked in and made it hard.

Hey Mako, It sure had a fair go especially on 4 pound fire, but thankfully there was not much structure around.
