jewgaffer
Good effort on the jew in the upper Georges Breambusters and that's a nice size flathead too....Those plastics sure seem to be livening them up... thinking about the upriver results and the majority of jew caught beingaround 4 or 5 kilos, I'm not sure if the 75cm jew would have come out one of the fingerling programs or part of an incoming school integrating upriver..... the presence of tailor up there is a good indicator and if they are up there the females could be anything from 6 up to 10 and 12kilos....the river is working very well at the moment and the incoming schools are usually accompanied by mulloway size fish that could be anywhere from 12kilos and upwards.... Haven't heard of too many big fish caught up there for ages, just thinking they either haven't gone up that far yet or only come out on the hunt for a day or so and even holed up might even shy off the plastics..... right now I'd be more inclined to fish further down from say Caravan Head, as far as the point back from Tom Uglys marina and do last of the run in at the bridge and the run out at CC Bridge... Anyway mr. gunnadoo here might do just that soon... in the meantime mr. bream busters keep on waving the Campbelltown area flag Cheers jewgaffer
