Ross Hunter
Hi Raiders thinking about joining them to learn more. Would anyone have some input about this club? Thanks Glen Glen, Having been a guest speaker at St George for many years I can assure you that they are a great bunch of guys who actually have their own premises and boat ramp. St George Sutho is a most active club and a bunch of nice people Good Luck Ross Hunter
FlighHigh
Thanks for the input Ross. Sounds like good fun. Will most likely take a members offer to show me around there and should I like it join. Does anyone have some information about membership/joining fees? Cheers Glen

Cheers Glen $30 joining fee. $70 annual adult membership fee. They have a website. Google is your friend. The late Gary Chapman was a member of St George & Sutherland Shire Anglers. I used to read his articles when I was a kid. They were always fairly well represented at the ANSA comps. I fished with St George sportfishing Club. I can certainly recommend them (they are also cheaper at $35 pa I think) but SG&SSA would be closer for you and they have a club house. Berleyguts
The St. George sportfishing Club meets 1st Thursday (next Thursday) of each month at St. George Masonic Club, Roberts Avenue Mortdale fropm 7:30 pm. Brett Wilson from Shimano is a guest speaker at the October meeting. Come along for a no obligation look-see if you like. Bruce. I just might try and get there Bruce. I miss the days when I used to fish with St George regularly, although it's a bit of a hike for me these days. Cheers, Baz
