tuffy
Raiders, due to work/winter/weather and other things, I have been house-bound over the past couple of months, so the kids decided to pull out the old Scalextric kit and set it up. Well, as fate and time would have it, the bloody thing was so rusty it couldn't be renewed, so me being the motor mouth said, " don't worry, boys, I'll build one." Here we have the progress shots and finished result:--------------------.
GregL
That rocks! And now the track wont come apart any more! Use to love slotcars, anyone know where there are full blown tracks that still operate except for Witara?? Pretty sure I still have a few 15's and 20's sitting at home. Wonder what ever happened to the one that use to be at the Harris st Car Museum. That was a 225ft track and the 20's use to run it in 6.3sec averages with lows in the 5.8 mark in the faster lanes. Ray R
That's a neat looking unit mate, I use to race slots at the Wyoming track (near gosford). I ran standard and modified Parma Womps, it was great fun..
