snapR
Hi guys, I hit a couple of different landbased locations both Sunday and today. Sunday scored a bream to 32cm Today scored these at a new spot i've snooped out. All are west of the harbour bridge. I've heard of a few captures of decent sized kings around the balmain area hence my endeavour to target them today. Got the king who went 66cm on the 4 th cast to a fresh cube of Bonito. He slammed it down and ran. Stood him up with Size 7 Suicide Octopus hook, 30 lb leader, 15 lb main. took me about 10 mins to get him in close enough as i was solo off a high rack platform and managed to get him nice an close after i scrambled down lower- for a safe landing. The trevs came as well. I fished the low. First 2 hours before and after the tide change. Cheers. Dom the others...
