Because I have 2 of them and yet to use them and I wanna try them for some flatties. Also what is the best way to retrive them? Any help would be great. Blood Knot Posted October 19, 2009 Share Posted October 19, 2009 Hi slayer666 Have not used blades off the beach but if there are flatties there they will work fine. Just fish them like a soft plastic - use a gentle lift and drop (so the path they take is sort of like the teeth on a saw blade) Just hop em along, kicking up a bit of sand every time the blade lifts up off the bottom. Wantingaboat Posted October 19, 2009 Share Posted October 19, 2009 I would say from a beach it should be ok but from a wharf i think you are bound for snags. Blades arent cheap and casting and retrieving and staying in contact with the bottom, its only a matter of time before you lose both of them. I prefer SP as they are much cheaper if snagged.
