Some Sort Of Toothless Shark

i caught a shark on saturday near bundeena. it was brown and had a triangular head and had no teeth and was just over a metre long. we caught a smaller model not long after. i was wondering if anyone had any idea what it is. my old man had a guess at port jackson shark but i looked them up and they didnt look like one. and i cant find it anywhere. sorry i have no pic i just plain forgot to get the camera out.

thanks fezza got it in one that is exactly it. can you eat them? do they have a legal length? we released the ones we caught the other day.
