garryl
Hi all, When I went out a few weeks ago I went to pull the Sounder screen off the mounting bracket (Quick release type). It didn't slide off very easily and I tugged at it a bit hard and broke the mounting bracket at the swivel. I checked on the Hummingbird web site and they want $70 for a replacement!!!! If anyone has an old Matrix 12 that might be busted and you want to get rid of it for a few $$ let me know and we'll see if we can work out a deal. Thanks heaps, Garry
tuffy
Gary, Why don't you just fabricate a new one from some aluminium plate. It's not that difficult, and if you want a hand just let me know. I'll be happy to do it for you. Cheers, Tuffy.

garryl
Thanks for the replies, and especially the offer of help. It's much appreciated. I've added a photo of what's broken. Its the mounting that the screen clicks into, and it's broken at the swivel. I don't think that making up a repalcement bracket is an option. I might be able to tape it up in position, but then I'd lose the ability to take the screen off. My boat is left outside when it's not being used so I need to take it off.
