hottyscotty Posted December 17, 2009 Share Posted December 17, 2009 (edited) I've just bought a second hand Saltist 30TH on the net and i think something is wrong with it. But i want to check with you guys b4 i make a complaint. When i was trying out my Saltist i could actually feel the gears going around each other. They're not crunching but i thought it should be close to the smoothness of a Saltiga. Another problem i've noticed is when i push the clutch lever back to engage the gears, it doesn't engage 100% of the time. Sometimes i need to wind the handle a few times b4 it fully engages. SZ1 Posted December 18, 2009 Share Posted December 18, 2009 Hi there, i have a Slatist 40 high speed and yes mine is the same ie nosie gears and the clutch for free spool when you have a slight load it engages everytime it is only when there is no load it some times will not enagage first go.
