arpie Posted December 20, 2009 Share Posted December 20, 2009 Hi all Yet another shark attack, at this time one of the 'holiday islands' towards the bottom of the Barrier Reef - seems a 19year old was attacked, with hand and forearm injuries. Just be aware that there is often a spike in shark attacks round this time of year - more people in the water, increased baitfish schools moving up & down the coast & more sharks too! It would be better not to fish in the early morning or late in the afteroon/early evening - stay away from dawn & dusk! Stay Safe!
