reeseman Posted January 8, 2010 Share Posted January 8, 2010 Hey guys i was just wondering after being told by an old local around the nelson bay area, that trumpeter are alright live bait for other fish. i never really thought about it, but if anyone else would know if they are ok or not because in the past i have caught an endless amount of the things and threw them back. I've caught jew's on them, but then again a jew will take just about any live bait. I've also strip baited them and caught a range of species. Give them ago.
