Outnumbered Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 is there any way to visually tell the difference between a VHF and 27 meg antennae?
Guest Jocool Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 I think they have a differnt coloured rubber tip! For instance, a UHF for a truck has a blue tip, whereas your regular AM has a red tip!
Bashir Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 buggered if I can tell the difference between mine they look exactly the same, but there must be a difference.
Outnumbered Posted April 9, 2005 Author Posted April 9, 2005 yeah the reason i asked is that i found an old one and i dont want to find out it's a 27mhz by plugging it in to my vhf radio and frying it.
