koolcat Posted January 25, 2010 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Hi Raiders, We ventured out to the Hawkesbury at 3am this morning with high expectations of catching that big jewie. We stared off with 5 soapies, all were released. Then I hooked something massive on my lightest outfit with a strip of yellow tail. After 5 mins into the fight it bit through the trace . That was it for the jewies for the day, we also got a few small snapper. Then we decided it was time to move and give the plastics ago. I ended up with a nice flatty, which we kept.
