AndrewNR Posted January 27, 2010 Share Posted January 27, 2010 I have caught them on live nippers, tiny crabs and my favourite pippis. But it depends on where you are fishing. You have to use what is in there environment. In estuaries live nippers get the big ones and stop the pickers. DGF Posted January 28, 2010 Share Posted January 28, 2010 ive seen alot of people using "squirt worms" / wrigglers they pump from georges river and from what ive seen they clean up on whiting n bream with them ive tried them few times and was pretty impressed usually just use a decent sized long shank hook on a light sinker sometimes also use a red bead or red tubing above the hook which is suposed to attract whiting (cannot confirm this as ive caught both with and without) fresh big prawns whole work well too Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
