Angelvic
Well it was one of those days I'll never forget. We started fishing middle of the Bay,15 blue nose bream to 40cm. After the high tide it went quite so we decided to have a go at the drop off in front of the Novetel. Well another 5 blue nose breams and 7 whitings up 47cm. All were caught on Hawkesbury prawns and yabbies. What a day in the Bay.Tight lines.

paul.kenny
Sounds like you had a great day There certainly are some good reports of sizeable bream in the bay at the moment. I am torn between chasing bream and flatties on the flats with surface lures or trying to catch my first kingy on lures in the bay this weekend....decisions decisions

fish53
Nice one. Were you at anchor or drifting for your catch? I was in the Bay yesterday morning and managed 5 Bream, 1 Flathead and a large whiting. I ended up getting most on drift as I lost the anchor after the rope parted with the chain due to the shackle coming undone--- I'll add some wire or a cable tie to the new shackle! Another boat I saw had about 8 really large whiting nearly as thick as a forearm. Regards Peter
