someguy2k
Just wondering by putting a soft plastic on a hook leave it as you would a natural dead bait, does this work ? anyone tried that ?
DGF
i suppose it could but you would have to rely on the fact that a fish would just be swimming past at the time, personally dont think would work as good as if you worked itit does need to be moving for the fish to notice it
monch
It works better with scented plastics which are pretty much baits. If you have run out of bait and don't want to bother with working your plastics i guess it would work to some extent but you will definitely get more rubbish fish. However, my question would be, why bother buying and using stinky expensive plastics for that purpose when you have a stinky old prawn that is much cheaper and works much better? I guess one of the dilemmas i got is I don't have any braid as I only got some el cheapo monofilament would be quite hard for me to work the soft plastic. Its seems the best thing to do is save me soft plastics and use them when i get some braid.
