Pimping The Old Tld 25

wanted to start using my old TLD 25 some more so i decided to give it some pimping

ordered in a new handle unscrewed a few screws and made the switch

the added length of the new handles increases the power of the reel by a estimated 33%

ill let the pictures do the talking all end the mod cost me around $35

haha I am pimping x3 quite old tld25s right now.... Was going to upgrade drag, mono and - now - a handle haha

Yeah looks good. You can also put the tld30 handle on them aswell, After i spent 5.5hours on a marlin on a tld25, I went straight out and upgraded my handle to the tld30 handle, nice to use and very cheap about $40.

Here's a great, custom 'Kolekar' handle upgrade for a range of popular overhead, game and big spin reels. If you're interested in them, please pm Alantani.

I'm not sure of the availability but for anyone who wants comfortable cranking power, they're a big step up on many stock handles...

You can see the comparison between the stock and after-market handles pretty well in these pics.

when you say old do you mean japanese or malaysian tld's

give me an old jap tld any day

have a 16 year old tld25 still fishing

another worth a try that does the same but is fairy cheap is to replace with a tyrnos30 handle same thing is a bit longer with a better grip and cost about $35
