Gribble
Hey all, me and the girlfriend took out the little tinny this afternoon for its first fishing expedition. Not wanting to go to far on a new motor that i dont quite understand the idiosyncrasies of just yet we decided on a quick drift along the flats between the bridges in the easterly. Had a few wins with 3 just legal lizzards and a flounder between us. As well as a bust off by something that felt like a very heavy and lazy flattie or quite possible a ray. Not too bad considering it was mostly poorly planned (wanted to fish bream, not flatties) and we ran out of fuel just before we got back to the ramp at Mooney. Decided to row the rest of the way, by the time I cracked out the jerry and topped up the internal tank we would have drifted past the ramp. Good day had by all nonetheless. Pics up later....
