tangled1
Headed down to Botany this morning with no wind in sight. Was using a couple of different blades with no success. Rigged up a 1/8 jig head with a lobby and i was immediately on , a couple of dull head shakes and not much fight and i thought tiny flathead! Also managed to hook a decent size Tarwhine from what i could see,(they sure can pull , my drag was zzzzzing its butt off) on a 80mm bloodworm wriggler and before i could land it that jig came flying at me!! The wind finally started to pick up from the south and the day was coming to an end. Still had a good relaxing morning i'm glad i mowed that lawn yesterday , now time for lunch and a couple beers! Here are a couple of pics. Cheers tangled1
Kosta1
Yeah the bay seemed to be quite and rough today. Heps of reddies around though. I came home with a 36cm bream and 4 trevalies, the largest being 42 cm. But i guess its better than nothing.
Welster
I went out saturday and had a quite day as well. Caught 4 bream 27 to 31cm at Mol point near high tide and not much else after moving just some some reddies and a Port Jackson. Does anybody know what the restricted (yellow markers) area near Capt Cook landing spot is about. Edited June 13, 2010 by welst
