Wobtam Posted June 18, 2010 Share Posted June 18, 2010 A group of us are heading to Lake Lyle next week end to chase Trout Has anyone got a report on the area & are the Trout ready to play Any news would be appreciated I have fish the lake twice before 1ST time caught trout 2ND time none at all this will be 3RD time lucky. stuartf Posted June 19, 2010 Share Posted June 19, 2010 Hi Sayo I had a friend that went up there 2 weeks ago he used powerbait, lures and local worms from the servo at the turn off and got nothing. He said that others there got nothing except 1 guy on the shore picked up 1 rainbow. I hope that helps. Good luck up there and have fun. I trolled and casted everything from Rapala CD5's in rainbow trout to SX 40 in 351 and various Tassie Devils. Just to give you a idea of the water level atm.
