Jewhunter
That's a cracking wild bass Roberta. Congrats on the p.b! It would have been fun on the surface. Did you throw any spin blade/grub combos around? I'm sure that little creek will produce plenty of more fish for you over summer. Cheers, Grant. arpie
Thanks Grant - I did try blades & grub combos, as well as regular spinners with a grub under the skirt ........ thought I felt a couple of jolts, but wasn't convinced they were hits ....... Not having my Fish Finder fitted yet - it would have helped with the depth of the creek - it was very shallow on both sides & deeper in the middle (aren't they all?? ) I must fit my FF!! I was really hopeful of more fish, but was SO pleased with the one decent one, so can't really complain!! Would have loved to be your netter up at Clarrie Hall!! Bet your buddy was green with envy!!! Will make sure I get out a bit more into Bass Country this summer! Cheeiro Roberta
