Went down Windang for the weekend and got into some fish.

A few Trevally, Some Flathead, And a PB Whiting at 37cm.

Nice way to spend a weekend.

Did better than me mate. I was there Friday and Sunday throwing all matter of lures and bait for a doughnut. I hate being landbased

Got them all on Prawns, idea of the trip was to sit back and relax.

Stippy, i tried landbased around the bridge with Soft Plastics on Friday, where abouts were you fishing mate ?

Dont hear too many reports from Windang.... have you had much success there in the past?

We fished there earlier this year (late summer) and scored some nice flatties... might head back there in couple months when the water warms up! i hear they even hold a flattie comp there???

Cool, we were under the bridge as well, would have been around 3pm. At that stage I was still persisting with soft plastics although by the sounds of it I would have had more luck with bait. On Sunday I was using bait off a section of the rockwall although I spent most of my time showing some friends how to cast and freeing snags as the current was ripping through at the time. Once the water warms up I'm hoping the lake starts producing more for me, certainly looks fishy.
