shady Posted September 19, 2010 Share Posted September 19, 2010 went out for my first trip in a few months to pittwater saturday arvo armed with a mix of baits,after a few spots i managed 10 or so but no keepers.went into the hawksbury around juno point and got a couple of flatties.overall it was quiet but lovely weather,im sure things will improve. ginko Posted September 21, 2010 Share Posted September 21, 2010 I was up Cowan system on Sunday for just one tailor in spite of a huge effort at burleying. There were loads of baby snapper in the deeper sections, and small clear baitfish at the edges of sand flats, but no fish biting nor any showing on the sounder. No yakkas at my regular spot either. There'd been a heavy rainfall earlier in the week, and maybe the bigger fish followed it down the system, and stayed around the mouth with the big swells washing food off the rocks and beaches.
