I've got a 3.95m Stacer and there's no way I'd take it that far from the Hacking. The weather can turn nasty so quickly. A strong northerly blew up the afternoon the day of this report. Fortunately my mate's 6m Quinnie could handle the choppy conditions, but it was still a "bumpy" trip back heading directly into the wind and chop.
