dhype
Hi Raider Long time since my last post as I have been too busy fishing Been hitting the waters with a few mates and we have been doing really well with soft plastics on the fish and getting plenty of crabs with the nets. In one session alone we landed 50+ flatties between the 4 of us.. size varied from small fish fingers up to 70cm units.. heaps of fun for all. My mate Pete managed a 44cm bream which was the largest bream i have seen from botany.. the fish itself was in poor condition and was released to fight another day. Water temps now edging close to 20 degrees so the kings wont be far off now! See you all on the water. Ive been quite lazy lately after burning the candle at both ends for the last 2 months with night shift work and mornings on the river fishing... Love this time of year! No freezing ur ass off and no sweating like a tomatoe and cheese sanga out on the water! Great catches there mate and very tasty feeds to be had. Hope to see you out there! dhype
Great stuff Trung, well done mate. Any comments on water depth and SP action? Spanker Hi Spanker - We generally fish the southern side of Botany around the flats in 2 to 5m meters of water. As for actions used .. just the usual slow retrieve with the double flick here and there... nothing special at all. We will keep trying different color SPs (squidgies and Gulps) untill we get one that works and everyone will switch to that shade of lure... seems to do the trick everytime. THe whole of Towra is fishing very well at the moment.. go get them! Cheers Trung

Definitely will need to catch up with you one of these days out on the Bay, last time we were lucky to bring home one flattie, apart from that it was very far and few bites in the many hours we were out on the Bay. But will definitely need to try and get into SP, as always been a bait fishermen. Longy.
