Bass Pro Las Vegas

Just got back from my LA trip and did a dirty dash over to las vegas for a look around at the Bass Pro shop attached to the Silverton Casino.

Just AAAAMMMMMAAAAAAZZZZZIIIINNNNGGG :1prop::1prop::1prop:

A phenomenal range of gear, more soft plastics than yu can poke a stick at, some great rods, reels and the amount of fishing related knick knacks is astounding.

The range of boats was also fantastic.

You could blow a years pay in there in a flash.

I bought a couple of really neat tackle bags, a bunch of hard bodies, Rapalas, Uncle bucks rebel etc, some specialist drop shot weights, jig heads, reel bags, a couple of rods including a microlite outfit which is 4'8" with a tiny 6 ball bearing spinning reel which I will give to my little boy for his upcoming 3rd birthday, anda bunchof SP's.

Blew my entire allowance there and didnt even have a dime left to drop in a slot machine.

Had a good look around at the boats, they had around 25 boats undercover to give you some idea of the size of the building, unreal how they havesome of those bass boats set up.

Ran out of time and only had time for a cursory glance through the hunting and camping sections which were as large as the fishing section.

All in all well worth the trip.

Sorry I forgot the digital so no photos

Regards Pogo who has seen the promised land :tease::1yikes::tease:

Pogo your a lucky sod. I reckon I could spend 2 or 3 days there. Just sleep in the camping section.

I have been to Vegas for the last 4 years for work and never knew there was a Bass Pro shop there :1wallbash::1wallbash: . This year I find out there is one and guess what I don't get to go.

Guess I will have to hold out for next year

Know what you mean mate, went to the states 2yrs back and went to the Probass Shop near washington and couldnt believe my eyes, 3 acres of nothing but fishing, hunting and boating.

I had to go back 3 times and ended up still not seeing everything they had to offer. 2007 ill be back again with no lugage, that way i can really stock up :1clap::1naughty: .
