Port Stephens Report - 25th Jan

[REEF MAGIC CHARTERS]

Hi all,

I have been back in Sydney this last week so we haven't been out off Port. Damien fished with the boys aboard Huntress on Saturday off Sydney and dropped 1 fish. They said the current was starting to back off and the water temp was 25.9 and the water colour was looking great over the shelf.

Well finally some good news out of Port Stephens with the current backing off and the bait starting to hold. I was speaking to the boys off Marquis who had a great weekend tagging 3 blues and one striped marlin in one day. There have been other reports of little blacks in close as well as the odd big dolphinfish still being caught. With the current slowing the FADs should start to hold a few fish as well it will also give us the chance to do some jigging at Allmark.

The weather this week doesn't look great but as we all know they don't always get it right so we will wait and see.
