tinny1 Posted January 29, 2011 Share Posted January 29, 2011 G'day Raiders Took 2 of my sons out on the bay this morning for another intro into soft plastics ,we weren't out there long before we landed two 27cm brim both sent back into the drink,got another nice 34cm which we kept and a 40cm trevally.But the best was yet to come and a PB for me was a monster 73cm Flathead caught on 6lb braid with a 2mtr 6lb fluorocarbon leader,wasn't a bad fight but i still reckon a good 45cm+ trevally goes harder,anyway i was still rapt .We were fishing along the groynes near the boat ramp in about 2mtrs of water all in all a good morning.
