Just wondering where are some good spots in hawksbury and botany bay for a great fun day fishing.

Gday, the best thing to do when you dont know where to fish is get some good bait and drift different areas and see what you come across. Alternatively just pick somewhere you think(using general fishing knowledge)might hold fish, burley hard and be patient.

Thanks mate will try it on Sun i'm going to botany bay for the first time so will have some fun i have a cheap fish finder so will try and find something decent to have a play with.

It might be worth trying dangar island. At this time of year i always et crabs, bream, whiting and big flatties. Lots of small snapper and Tailor aswell.

back of lion island drifting usually fishes well too

but keep an eye on the swells rolling in

good boat launching from apple tree bay bobbin head / mooney mooney road bridge or parsley bay at brooklyn

u could also try around cottage point

and keep an eye out for surface action
