DANDRE Posted February 14, 2011 Share Posted February 14, 2011 Afternoon Raiders, Just wondering if anyone alse has had issues with Penn rod tips. i decided to branch out and give Penn a go buying a set of short rod combos about 6 months ago. have only been using them for the last 2 months or so but while trolling offshore around the 5 islands both rigs got smashed and after a few seconds of being set the both braid lines were clean cut:mad3: . i checked the rod tips to find they both were spintered. haven't had this problem within 2 months of buy a rod before..
