live bait spot

hi all anyone care to share a good live bait spot, heading out of roseville ramp in the early hours, once the sun get up may head to longy if the wind and swell are kind. normally go the spit but have found the yakka small and slow on the take or the baths at balmoral which has been slow on the take for the yakka went well on the gars there a couple of weeks back but they are slow work and not as hardy on the hook although reward well. have tried the southern point of mid head but never had much luck.
