hopperyboy16 Posted May 4, 2011 Share Posted May 4, 2011 Hi all, A few mates and myself are looking to take a week off around October for our annual fishing trip. We usually head off to Mallacoota for the week targeting big flatties and bream. However from the last couple of trips there we seem to be noticing Malla is becoming somewhat a "worst kept secret" in terms of fishing and from what we can see the catch rates and sizes of larger fish is coming down a bit. We still love Malla and all it has to offer in terms of fishing but are probably looking for something different this year in terms of scenery. Any suggestions on a new venue offering similar styles of fishing (estuary mainly)? We live in Albury so would only be looking to handle a 6-7 hour drive. Cheers All!
