Evopete55
Hi everyone, has anybody used the new Garmin 550c fishfinder as I am looking to upgrade. How does the dual beam 60/120 degree transducer compare with current Garmin 50/200hz transducer at 500watt output. Appreciate any replies, Regards Evopete.

a boat
Hi, I have had a play with this unit here in the shop as a demo, but from what I hear stock is not available yet so as you suspect i doubt anyone has one yet. Nice unit and set-up right it would do the depths you want. It was anice unit although it is a tough market and the screen size and pixel count was behind some other brands i sell and have used especially with the specials running at the moment. Cheers, Huey. Evopete55
Thanks for the reply Huey.Would the Humminbird 596c be of similar price, the 640x640 pixels looks a lot better resolution, but different dual beam cone angles.Any advantage with 60/120 cone angles.
