tonez
Hey raiders. I'm planning to fish the harbour tomorrow (Sunday) on my newly acquired, seldom used quintrex. I haven't been fishing in the harbour since summer when the bonito and tailor were chomping anything. Obviously , different tactics are required tomw. Since I haven't been for so long i was just wondering if anyone could help me by letting me in on what has been biting this week and where I might find some. I plan to catch a couple of yakkas for live bait and will have the usual assortment of lures and frozen bait. I don't have a sounder unfortunately ( yet). Any ideas would be appreciated. rjc123
Here are some spots and tips i would suggest! * Troll North Head at the moment for salmon and tailor. There are plenty at the moment too! * Fish about 50 meters off grotto point with prawns and livies. On the prawns you can expect flatties, trevs, tailor and lots of bream and flounder. A livie here might get you on to tailor, salmon, kings and maybe even a jewie. * Sow and Pigs at the moment has a few snapper and trevs about with the odd salmon and king too! Berley hard!! Good luck!
