Meh
Went for a fish with Swordfisherman who kindly offered me a spot on his boat. Started off very cold by the time we got to the first spot my hands weren't working. Started off a bit slow so we moved to another spot. First cast at the new spot and Stewy though he was snagged, until big headshakes zzzzzz then pylon. Must have been a sizeable fish, Stewy was cursing the bust off all day haha. Went on to have a decent session further up river with bream, whiting, flathead, trevalley and Stew even managed a rather fat looking blackfish on a plastic. JET01
Sounds like a great day had by all. I've been a bit quiet on the forums lately as I've been away from home since mid May... I'll be home around the 1st Sept.... Can't wait to get the yak out in the water again, I only bought it a month before i left so only managed about 7 sessions (one of those were 9hours ) I'd be keen to head out on the Cooks/Botany with a few of you when i get back... Yakkers or boaties, i'm not fussed. I've only really been up there in the tinny when the bay was quiet. I spend most of my time around the towra area chasing flatties for the table. Never caught a Jewie, would be great to get onto one when i get home. By the looks of things i need to lurk around the boat ramp and wait for Stewy to put his big blue boat in and follow him closely.
