troystone Posted June 28, 2011 Share Posted June 28, 2011 am looking to restore a 3.9m stacer aluminium dinghy by installing a false floor,removing both fwd and aft bench seating and installing 2 fwd swivel seats,fwd controls and windscreen. anyone out there done something similar?if so any chance of seeing pics of the finished project as this is my first boat and ard looking for some ideas on how it should look when finished. cheers!! fishon Posted June 30, 2011 Share Posted June 30, 2011 looks good how did you attach th seats? its actually a run about it was already like that just some ideas there are seat set ups you can buy like that but look out when it comes to removing the seating as the floatation is located in them but if done properly dont forget to have floatation under the floor and the seats are also a main part of the strength of the hull Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
