mulcahya
Did you keep them or return them? I'm not passing judgment, rather, I'm just curious if the fish are ok to eat from the Cooks river. It strikes me as a little polluted. Hope I'm wrong, cause I'd love to try and catch a feed there. Also, if you don't mind me asking, where exactly did you catch them in the bay? I'm having no luck in the bay. Edited July 27, 2011 by Baffler
fisholb
hi. we only keep a couple then give away the rest of our catch. i usually keep the trevs and give away the rest. the spot we go to is in kyeemagh near the boat ramp where cooks river meets botany bay. best time is just before sunrise. it gets pretty full at the point there at times. regarding if its ok to eat the fish out there, well, my advice is just eat the fish you catch from there once a month. hi, weve been trying to catch a jew at the spot using squid and live yakkas but still no success. we get rat kings most of the time.
