clemsy Posted July 27, 2011 Share Posted July 27, 2011 Hi Raiders, this is my first post hehe! This site has been a great help to me and I wanted to get some advice on my set up. I have a Meridian 7" Supertip and when I use a sinker that is a bit too heavy the rod bends after i cast and set it down. And sometimes the conditions call for a heavier sinker and I was wandering does it matter if I use a heavy weight with windy conditions on a "thinly tipped" rod or should I use a sinker that allows the rod to stay upright and just let the bait travel with the current?
