Looks like a red morwong mate. There are plenty around when diving but usually very difficult to catch by line.

Definately a Red Mowie.

Unusual catch on a line though.

Tastes like weed the ones I have caught though ugh.

Definitely a red mowie. Eating quality is not good thats why they are always cooked with some sort of spices.
