Tim Posted June 9, 2005 Share Posted June 9, 2005 Never actually set it up myself, but I've watched it done before. The way I saw it done was with a 2 hook rig. I guess they were about 5/0 or 6/0, but can't really remember for sure. The front hook in the tail end of the squid, and the other just below the head (on it's back). The squid was towed tail first at a very slow speed. I'm sure some others will give better detail than this, but hey, I haven't posted here for a while & need a fix. Bashir Posted June 9, 2005 Share Posted June 9, 2005 I've used Iains method, but sometimes the sinker will tangle around everything causing a big mess. I prefer to use a sinker clip running along the double or mainline. I also have a handy rig that I use sometimes for livebaiting and it is pretty good for trolling livies, but its really only suitable for use with lines over 80lb as you need to use a crimp.
