Snapper, Mangrove Jack spin combo?

Hey raiders,

a few weeks back i was after some help with deciding what rod and reel fit my needs. I origionally said that i wanted a combo light enough to fish for bream on lures with but heavy enough to tackle mangrove jacks and school jew. I have changed my needs a bit. I felt that 3-6kg was a bit light for jacks so a thinking a rod in the 4-6kg or 5-8kg range that i can use for the jacks, school jew and Snapper offshore on sp's. Here are a few rod options i cam across.

* Abu Soron Spin, 2 piece, 7 foot, 4-6kg

* Pflueger Trion Spin, 2 piece, 7 foot, 3-6kg range

* Shimano Mexican Fire 701, 4-7kg

I would be either matching this rod with a shimano stradic fi or shimano saros. Both 3000 size. Are these reels too small to work well on these rods? Also any suggestions or tips to do with the rods would be great. It also has to be 2 piece.
