austral
hello all, its been a few years since ive been prawning and im going to take my son out with me for a few hours.. what stage of tide is the best? the first hour or so, mid tide or close to the bottom?? because my son is only 4 i cant really stay out for the whole tide so id like to take him around the peak time.. i will either be out in the boat over the weed beds or walking around the shoreline.. thanks heaps..stevo.. sinbad66
on a good run out tide they use the current to assist them getting to the mouth and Freedom!! so if your prawning up the back of the estuary start at the beginning of runout if your closer to the exit then the back half of the runout and preferably no moon hope that made sense
