Little Hooker
Hey fisho Been out of the water since snow has fallen over our alpine's but since the snow has almost melted im back out in the glorious blue ocean of ours . I had brought a furuno fcv 585 to run with my gp7000 and finally tested it on the water on friday. Money well spent and i cant ask for anything more from this unit! Im havin one problem that im not sure is right. When im in manual range and zooming in a certin depth say im in 100mtrs and i zoom in the first 50mtrs the sounder reads out a incorrect depth and sometimes doesnt read anything it all. Picture is showing fine tho. Is that normal?? Because i notice that on my gp7000f too and im thinking that my transducer is faulty. how ever after playin with the new toy i saw a few big marks on the sounder and mannage to pull one of them up. Fattest 90cm king ive seen in my life. Furuno you have made my life so much better. Edited September 24, 2011 by Little Hooker
