I have been following fishraider for a while now and I thought it was about time that I contributed an article. Went for a fish on Friday, took the day off and convinced a couple of mates to do the same. Thought better get a fish in before the bad weather hits and sticks around. Went out to the Royal National Park, long drive followed by a fairly long bushwalk but it was a beautiful day and enjoyed the walk to the ocean. Bought some prawns for bait but we left them in the car Doh!!! No one was willing to go back as it was a 30min walk so we decided to go for a Blackdrummer and blackfish using weed and cunjevoi. Could only stay for about 2.5 hours but had a great time and bagged some big blackfish and a black drummer. Also got busted off twice, all in all a great day out. Wow no one went back for the bait with only a half hour walk, wonder if you would have caught less or more with the prawns..... Tell ya mates they are soft, I went back to the car once after forgetting my sunnies, 10km round trip and that was after walking all the way in, 20km by the end of the day.....
